1. What instruments (includes voice) do you play?
   I sing, play guitar, tenor banjo and bass
    

2. Do you write lyrics or music, or both?
   I write music and lyrics.
    

3. What styles of music do you write in?
   "Urban Folk" - inspirational, spiritual and fun.
    

4. When and how did you get started in music, what are you doing now, and where have you played?
   I started writing songs in high school and performed professionally for several years. Around the time I got married and we had two children, I stopped songwriting and performing. But when our children were in elementary school, I renewed my interest in songwriting and performing.
    

5. Do you perform regularly and what are your preferred venues?
   I perform my music at my church, Spirit of Hope United Methodist in Golden Valley - and also various open mike events in the Twin Cities.
    

6. Do you have any recorded music? If so, out with it!
   As of Spring 2006, I am completing my fourth CD, "Thin Minutes".

   My second and third CDs are now available at CD Baby. I will add the fourth one soon.
    

9. How far do you want to go with your music at this time? What are your goals?

   Writing the Next Song is my goal. I'm always grateful to my Creator for the strength and courage to develop new songs. They take on a life of their own when I'm done with them. My hope is that my songs will reward the listener with new insights, new ideas and new inspiration.

    

10. Are you interested in collaborating with other musicians and songwriters?

    I would like to play occasionally with a bass player and drummer. I haven't attempted collaborating with other songwriters, but I appreciate the feedback I receive when I share my songs at meetings.

     

11. Is there anything outside of music that you would like people to know about you?
    I sincerely hope you like my songs. I've put so much of myself into them.
