  1. What instruments (includes voice) do you play?
Guitar, voice, and occasionally I butcher a harp.

  2. Do you write lyrics or music, or both?
I write both lyrics and music – though not in standard notation.

  3. What styles of music do you write in?
Blues, jazz, folk, rock (soft…if there is such a thing).

  4. When and how did you get started in music, what are you doing now, and where have you played?
I started playing at age 13 in Red Wing reformatory learning the House of the Rising Sun and have played in many “less than desirable places.” Now I use music and my story to minister and occasionally I play in coffeehouses.

  5. Do you perform regularly and what are your preferred venues?
Only regularly in ministry situations – church, Metro Hope, Union Gospel Mission, Salvation Army.

  6. Do you have any recorded music? If so, out with it!
There are a few rough cuts floating around. Nothing commercial – yet.

  7. Do you have a website?  If so, what is it?
    www.simplyservants.org

  8. Is your music available for purchase online?  If so, where?

    You mean people buy music???

  9. How far do you want to go with your music at this time? What are your goals?

I would love to have the songs God has given me reach millions of people. I’m not sure what that looks like…

  10. Are you interested in collaborating with other musicians and songwriters?

Collaboration is how it works isn’t it? Can’t market songs in a vacuum, can’t share the gospel with others in a vacuum. Besides, writing praise and worship is better shared…isn’t it?

  11. Is there anything outside of music that you would like people to know about you?

I have a passion to give away the gospel in song for free…and get paid for it. Email me with questions or comments.
