Minnesota Association of Christian Songwriters

Steve Eberlein

  1. What instruments (includes voice) do you play?
    Guitar - vocals.

  2. Do you write lyrics or music, or both?
Both, but lyrics only because I have to.

  3. What styles of music do you write in?
    Christian Contemporary.

  4. When and how did you get started in music, what are you doing now, and where have you played?
My mom taught piano – so I started as a child. I picked up a guitar in 11th grade and immediately started writing sappy love songs. I got over that in a few decades and now I write specifically Christian music.

  5. Do you perform regularly and what are your preferred venues?
No, unless you count worship teams and special music at church services. Occasional coffee house performances.

  6. Do you have any recorded music? If so, out with it!
I have several CD’s I’ve recorded in my home studio.

  7. Do you have a website?  If so, what is it?
    No web site.

  8. Is your music available for purchase online?  If so, where?

No, but if you really want a CD, you can contact me through this site.

  9. How far do you want to go with your music at this time? What are your goals?

No plans. I just enjoy it. Creative outlet.

  10. Are you interested in collaborating with other musicians and songwriters?

    Not at this time.
